Flaco El Jandro is a Chicano songwriter from Salinas, CA.

His music is a blend of traditional songwriting and aesthetic with modern instrumentation and energy in a variety of different styles including Rock, Bolero, Regional Mexicano, and Cumbia. In 2020 he released his self-produced debut EP Canciones Para Curar la Depresión. The title track Todo Sigue Igual was featured in the documentary Unhealthy Comedian. He found success in early 2022 on TikTok with his semi-viral hit Mi Encendedor, which expanded his fanbase immensely in a short period of time. 


In August of 2022 Flaco released his second EP Nada Te Pido. The lead single of this EP, Me Matas, premiered in Remezcla’s  “14 new songs to listen to this week”. Currently, Flaco is working on new material and performing consistently with his band Los Perros Callejeros who were chosen to perform at this year's NPR Tiny Desk Contest on the Road.His commitment to his craft encompasses his drive to capture the essence of his ancestors, honoring where he comes from and elevating the Chicano experience in his lyrics and infectious rhythm.
